Bio

Bridget Connelly studies Arabic oral literature, Islamic traditions, modern popular literature, and Frankish and Provincial literature of the Middle Ages. Her recent book Forgetting Ireland was recommended by the Irish Times in Dublin as "one of the best books of 2003." She has been appointed a guest lecturer at the Keough Institute of Irish Studies at Notre Dame for Fall, 2004. She is also a member of the advisory board of the Metaphor Project.
