Declaring the Minor

Upon completion of Rhetoric 10 with a letter grade of C or better, students become a Minor by presenting a copy of their transcript to the Undergraduate Assistant. Before confirming completion of the Minor Program, a student must submit the petition for Confirmation of Minor Program Completed and provide a final transcript. No course taken p/np may be used to satisfy any requirement of the minor.

A petition for Confirmation of Minor Program Completed and the Rhetoric minor Application are required and available from the Undergraduate Assistant 7406 Dwinelle Hall. The petition is also available from the College of Letters and Science, 113 Campbell Hall.

Remember to submit a current transcript during the term before graduation or no later than two weeks after the end of your final semester. This allows time for formal submission and filing of the Confirmation of Minor Program petition with the Registrar so that the Rhetoric Minor appears on your final transcript and diploma.
