Lilith Acadia has been awarded a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Co-fund Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Trinity College Dublin Long Room Hub Arts & Humanities Research Institute for the project “A Northampton Marriage: Discursive Construction and Concealment of a Queer Relationship,” which brings together research and teaching interests in religion, literature, and pretext. Acadia is an Assistant Professor of Intellectual Breadth at the University of Michigan-Jiao Tong Joint Institute, and received a doctorate from Rhetoric in 2018 after completing the dissertation, Power of Pretext: Religious Justification in Science Fiction, Scientology, & Society.
