Speaker: Charles Ferguson PhD
Charles received his B.A in Mathematics from UC Berkeley in 1978 and obtained a PhD in Political Science from MIT in 1989.
In 1994, Ferguson founded Vermeer Technologies which he sold in early 1996 to Microsoft, and integrated FrontPage into Microsoft Office.
Shortly after selling Vermeer, Ferguson turned to research, writing and filmmaking. He is the author of five books, including High Stakes, No Prisoners Winner’s Tale of Greed and Glory in the Internet Wars and Predator Nation: Corporte Criminals, Political corruption, and the Hijacking of America. He’s written for the Huffington Post, The Guardian, The New York Times, and other publications.
