Andrew Herscher is an Associate Professor in the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. He is the author of Violence Taking Place: The Architecture of the Kosovo Conflict (2010, Stanford University Press) and The Unreal Estate Guide to Detroit (2012, University of Michigan Press). He received his PhD in the Program in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Planning at Harvard University in 2002.
