Aliosha Bielenberg received an Ernst Mach Grant from the OeAD, the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization, and will be spending the 2025–26 academic year as a visiting research fellow at the University of Vienna's Institut für Byzantinistik und Neogräzistik. His research is also supported by the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation through the award of a Berkeley-Austria Research Fellowship.
