Congratulations to the following graduates of the Rhetoric PhD Program on their placements:

Chiara Ricciardone 

has won the Frank E. Ratliff Fellowship in Classical Antiquity at UC Berkeley. 

Eugene McCarthy
has accepted the position of assistant professor of legal studies at the University of Illinois, Springfield in August. He will be teaching law, culture, and humanities courses, among others.

Eric Morales-Franceschini
has accepted the position of Assistant Professor, Department of English at the University of Georgia, where he is also a teaching member of the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute (LACSI).

Elmo (Fernando) Gonzaga
has accepted a two-year position of Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Department of Cultural and Religious Studies.

Mark Minch
has accepted a one-year Postdoc position at Tufts (associated with a Mellon Sawyer seminar titled "Comparative Global Humanities: Colonialisms, Violence and the Conditions for the Human"). He has also just accepted an assistant professor position in English (with a focus on Indigenous Studies) at UC Riverside, which he will begin assuming after his postdoc.

Ragini Tharoor Srinivasan
has accepted the position of Assistant Professor of Global Anglophone Literature, Department of English, University of Nevada, Reno.
